A gummy smile can occur when someone smiles and a significant portion of the gums show. Dr Bracken performs non-surgical gummy smile reduction by Botox® injections. At the time of your Botox® consultation Dr Bracken will help you determine if your gummy smile condition is appropriately treated with Botox®. Botox® treatment of gummy smiles can take as little as 15 minutes to complete and the results of this Botox® treatment are often dramatic. Botox® is injected into the muscle that is responsible for pulling up the upper lip. Botox® will weaken this muscle resulting in a more natural smile and a diminished gummy smile. |
